A Housing Needs Survey has been carried out in Horsmonden which has identified a need for up to 14 units for local people. Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Planning Department will be carrying out several site surveys  in or adjacent to the village which could accommodate a local needs housing scheme

It is anticipated that by the time that we get to the presentation stage a preferred site will have been selected and we will be able to provide more information on the site at that stage. At the moment the Parish Council have indicated a preference for a scheme which would include all social rented properties with a mixture of 1,2 and 3 bed units plus a number of lifetime homes/bungalow type dwellings that are suitable for the elderly.
