Reminder to Park Considerately on Lamberts Place

Residents and visitors are being asked to park with extra care on Lamberts Place, particularly while temporary traffic lights remain in place on Goudhurst Road. 

Concerns have been raised about vehicles parking and waiting on the corners of Lamberts Place and near the bus stop. This is creating visibility issues and, more importantly, a potential safety risk for children who catch the school bus from the end of the road.

Please remember:
• Do not park or wait on corners – it restricts sight lines for drivers and pedestrians.
• Keep the bus stop clear – buses need space to pull in safely, and children must be able to board without stepping into the road.
• Be mindful of traffic flow – with temporary traffic lights already slowing movement, blocked junctions make the situation worse for everyone.
