South East Water - Temporary Road Closure - B2162 Maidstone Road, Horsmonden - 18th November 2025

Due to works planned to be undertaken by South East Water, it will be necessary to close part of B2162 Maidstone Road, Horsmonden, from 18th November 2025 with estimated completion by 21st November 2025.

B2162 Maidstone Road, Horsmonden, will be closed in the vicinity of Bluebird House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 Maidstone Road, The Heath, Brenchley Road, Horsmonden Road, High Street, Brenchley Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2160 Gedges Hill, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2017 Badsell Road, A228 Maidstone Road, A228 Whetsted Road, A228 Branbridges Road, A228 Branbridges Ind Est Roundabout, A228 Hale Street By Pass, A228 Maidstone Road Roundabout, B2015 Maidstone Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2162 Benover Road, B2162 Collier Street, B2162 Claygate, B2162 Maidstone Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow water pipe works to be carried out, works are undertaken by South East Water.
