Urgent Road Closure - Gibbet Lane, Horsmonden - 17th March 2026

It will be necessary to close Gibbet Lane, Horsmonden from 17th March 2026 for up to 1 day.

The whole length of the road will be closed, but access will be maintained for residents when it is safe to do so.

The alternative route is via Gibbet Lane, B2162 Maidstone Road, The Heath, Furnace Lane, and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 07:00 hrs and 19:00 hrs.

This is to enable urgent footway cleansing to be carried out by Kent County Council.
