Temporary Road Closure - B2162 Maidstone Road, Horsmonden - 18th May 2026

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to close part of B2162 Maidstone Road, Horsmonden, from 18th May 2026 with estimated completion by 22nd May 2026.

B2162 Maidstone Road, Horsmonden, will be closed at the junction with Yew Tree Green Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 Maidstone Road, The Heath, Goudhurst Road, Ballards Hill, B2079 Summerhill, B2079 Winchet Hill, B2079 Goudhurst Road, B2079 West End, Pattenden Lane, Green Lane, B2162 Collier Street, B2162 Claygate, B2162 Maidstone Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow drainage repair works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
