Due to works planned to be undertaken by UK Power Networks, it will be necessary to close part of B2162 Collier Street, Collier Street, from 27th July 2026 with estimated completion by 31st July 2026.

B2162 Collier Street, Collier Street, will be closed in the vicinity of Willows Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 Collier Street, B2162 Claygate, B2162 Maidstone Road, B2162 Lamberhurst Road, A262 Horsmonden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A21 J A262/B2162 Roundabout, A21 Lamberhurst By-pass, A21 From J A262/B2162 Roundabout To J B2160 Roundabout Including Roundabout, Lamberhurst Quarter, Hastings Road, A21 J B2160 Roundabout, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2160 Gedges Hill, B2160 Maidstone Road, A228 Whetsted Road Roundabout, A228 Branbridges Road, A228 Branbridges Ind Est Roundabout, A228 Hale Street By Pass, A228 Maidstone Road Roundabout, B2015 Maidstone Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2162 Benover Road, B2162 Collier Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow underground cabling installation works to be carried out, works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
