Temporary Road Closure - B2017 Badsell Road, Mascalls Court Road & B2160 Maidstone Road, Paddock Wood - 19th October 2026

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to close parts of B2017 Badsell Road, Mascalls Court Road & B2160 Maidstone Road, Paddock Wood, from 19th October 2026 with estimated completion by 15th May 2027.

B2017 Badsell Road, Mascalls Court Road & B2160 Maidstone Road, Paddock Wood, will be closed as detailed below:

B2017 Badsell Road will be closed at the junction with B2160 Maidstone Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Badsell Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, A228 Whetsted Road, A228 Maidstone Road, and vice versa.

Mascalls Court Road will be closed at the junction with B2160 Maidstone Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Mascalls Court Road, Mile Oak Road, Pearsons Green Road, Churn Lane, B2162 Maidstone Road, The Heath, Brenchley Road, Horsmonden Road, High Street, Brenchley Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2160 Gedges Hill, Mascalls Court Road and vice versa.

B2160 Maidstone Road will be closed at junction with B2017 Badsell Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2160 Gedges Hill, B2160 Maidstone Road, A21 Hastings Road, A21 Pembury Bypass, A21 Exit to A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Road, A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, A228 Maidstone Road, A228 Colts Hill, B2017 Badsell Road, B2160 Maidstone Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow highway improvement works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
