Temporary Road Closure - B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden - 5th February 2026

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden, from 5th February 2026 with estimated completion by 6th February 2026.

B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden, will be closed approximately 70 metres East of Marle Place Road, for a distance approximately 100 metres in an East direction. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Gun Back Lane, The Heath, Goudhurst Road, Ballards Hill, B2079 North Road, A262 The Plain, A262 West Road, A262 Clayhill, A262 Station Road, A262 Spelmonden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A262 Horsmonden Road, A21 J A262/B2162 Roundabout, B2162 Horsmonden Road, B2162 Lamberhurst Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Openreach.
